The first role in the Russian film “Loveless” for Daria Pisareva, young actress from Moscow, gave her a chance to meet and work with one of the best film directors of our time, Andrey Zvyagintsev. “There are no small roles, only small actors” as Stanislavsky said. “I have a beautiful episode in the movie. And I’m so grateful that the director created it for me.” The audience knows that in the films of Andrey Zvyagintsev nothing is by accident – every detail matters. “Loveless” has won a Jury Prize at the 70th Cannes Film Festival and has been premiered in Russia while Europe will see the movie in September.
More than that, Daria was selected by the Multiverse Ventures BV organization and won the official title of Miss Power Woman Russia and will represent her country during the international grand finals among 30 contestants from 30 different countries in July in Dominican Republic. “I meet women who inspire me by their own stories and experiences in my country and abroad. They are not only mothers, wives, business ladies and great achievers but also open-minded and tolerant people. It’s an honor for me to represent my country in such a competition as well as a great opportunity to deliver a very important message that a woman has the equal rights as a man although it’s still not the case in many conservative countries.”
That will be the first pageant competition for Daria. As her father, Nikolay Pisarev is a former football player (Spartak Moscow) and currently work as a coach, she is not worried about any physical tests. Her acting education will help with other trials but the most important thing according to the actress’s personal belief is “to stay a human being”. “Beauty is not about being flawless” as another director who I worked with in Munich (Malte Schulz) wrote for my character. Perfection is a goal for many of us, but it’s more important to pay attention on what is happening around us. People don’t hear each other and become indifferent and selfish. In order to change the world we have to start with ourselves, otherwise, one day, we’ll all get the worst disease which is called loveless”.
